Published alongside the journal’s issues, "In the Midst" responds to world events in a more immediate way than is possible through the journal’s longer editorial and production processes. Entries are between 1,000 and 2,000 words. Please contact criticaltimes@berkeley.edu with a brief note proposing the topic.
